What is the Lost Portal?

Your adventures begin in the fishing village of Boradir.  This small community has been isolated from the rest of the empire for many years – since The Fall.  Fifty years have passed since Boradir was overrun by orcs, trolls and other creatures.  Although many of the town’s people were killed during The Fall, some survived and the town was rebuilt.  The town’s magical portal was destroyed during The Fall, preventing quick and easy travel to other towns.  The nearest city of Darmok is north through dangerous wilderness and those who have attempted travel there have not returned.
